Ironman 70.3 Mallorca

If you want a super competitive race in Europe then this is the one you want. A good field of athletes usually turn up for this one.

With a brilliant sea swim in what is usually a calm bay you exit the water into one of the longest 70.3 transition areas. 

The bike is what makes this race so special, with a long climb and technical decent in the first half and then a rolling to flat in the second half. It has a little bit of everything and decent scenery to match.

The run has varied between a 2 and a 3 lap course over the years but it is flat. The only exception is the small wooden bridge on each lap which feels like a moutain on race day!!

This race has a decent post race area with good food and beer, alcoholic beer on tap btw!! In 2023 there was also an after party on the beach on race night which was a brilliant addition.
